E-Commerce Revamp
CONCEPT TO EXECUTION FOR HOME FIXTURES RETAIL E-COMMERCE WEBSITE
Posh Lighting Pte Ltd (Posh Lighting) had a non-operational e-commerce website which lacks navigation on the home page. Product pages was not enabled for digital payment and there were no means of contacting the business owner from the site.
The business has been relying on 3rd party channels for online sales and marketing, which have been a success due to the channel’s distribution. The client however needed to present credibility as some customers from the 3rd party e-commerce channel actually visited the official website for more information.
Our consulting arm was approached to implement digital advertising (PPC) but the e-commerce site and branding strategy for an in-house brand of lighting products and solutions needed to be functioning first.
Scope of Work

CONCEPT & LAYOUT
Standard E-Commerce – Utilized full-screen estate for good photography at the home page to present a boutique-style retailer.
– Integrate WooCommerce plugin to present the products for easier navigation and purchase flow that most consumers are familiar with.
– Focused on copywriting and images for each lighting product for online differentiation.
Responsive Design
The website and it’s content are designed to meet responsiveness to devices.
Mobile-ready sites are imperative as stats have reported that an average of 80% hits on a standard B2B website comes from mobile devices today.
Product Copywriting
We found that textual content are usually inadequate or totally missing on the client’s marketing channel and that of competitors too.
This is due to a common source of supplier for their products, which doesn’t come with literature resources. A large part of our work involves creating brand series and description for the products.
Photo Editing
Standard & style of photography determines the value-perception of products significantly. The client’s products lack good photography as principals are OEMs which supplies the competitors too.
A large part of this project involves sourcing for OEM images, enhancing photo quality and superimposing to create images that is unique to the client.
Extent of work: – Source from internet best resolution of same product
– Extract from PDF higher-resolution images if available
– Photo-edit to achieve better resolution and colours
– Superimpose to various background for environment impression
Colours
The client has specifically requested that their designated yellow and blue to be emphasized in the design. The combination of the designated yellow and blue can easily stray from a boutique impression.
To solve this, a neutralizing colour (Grey) was selected to work closely with the client’s yellow while blue was kept to a minimum and never applied alone with yellow.
