This event in Bangkok hosts the regional sales & marketing teams and the requirement is to conceptualize a set-up based on the original intentions from Brand HQ. The objective is to provide a mock-up of what the teams may expect for the year.

Multi-Brand Concept

The event showcases the marketing directions for 5 brands in a single space, with emphasis on Lab Series and DKNY fragrances. The challenge is to create an overall concept that embraces the directives of all brands. 

Concept for Lab Series

Lab Series was awarded the GQ Grooming Award that year, and went ballistic on the social front, inviting onboard actors and media personalities all across APAC to be the brand ambassador. 

Drawing inspiration from those events, we presented our concept – A star-studded, red carpet concept of glam fit for the movie stars!

Concept for DKNY

Taking reference from the Visual Merchandising (VM) Guideline from Brand HQ, we brought the concepts to life with a little twist to create harmony with the event as a whole.

Continuing from the red carpet concept for Lab Series, we envisioned the guests walking through the red carpet and entering into a shooting set.

Illustrating the Event

3D renderings and 2D visuals helps the client visualize the entire experience we seek to create. For each brands, 2 concepts were presented. Based on the information we gathered during the site visit, we proposed the layout and floorplan for the event. To help the client save on cost of production and logistics, we designed the exhibit for Lab Series and DKNY fragrances to be presented back-to-back, while utilizing the same carpentry works as a basis for further customization.

Red Carpet Gala

The exhibits for Lab Series features the award winning product on a hero display. The red carpet, the gold queue poles and the photo backdrop filled with GQ monogram brings out the red carpet, gala experience.

Take A Bite Out Of Life

Drawing directions from the VM Guideline, we brought to life mock-ups of the Window Display, Pop-up Event to even the smallest fabrication such as the product display sets. A filming set of real camera, lights and director’s chair was rented and placed to create the ‘on-set’ concept we proposed.

Production Management

Our task included the illustration of production drawings, laser-cut files, FAs for printing etc. In conjunction with our fabrication partner in Thailand, we oversaw the production and assembly work of the various components.

Work involved in this project includes conceptualization, build-up design and fabrication to deployment overseas in collaboration with local carpentry partner.
