Miss Laura Skincare, Cosmetics Singapore 2018
The client planned to launch a new skincare product in Singapore with the intention to market and retail in Malaysia and China thereafter. We were engaged to design their brand identity and set the directions for their branding and marketing communications effort.
It was mentioned that their business model involves distributorship and direct sales, so we proposed a brand manual where the fundamentals of brand identity such as colors, rules of applications, typeface, editorial policies, photography etc. can be monitored and enforced in such business models.
Logo Concept
We presented 2 concepts for the logo design, inspired by how the client envision the brand, pricing strategy, channels and target market demography.
Concept Development
The conceptual logos were presented with color variations and visual elements to be adapted on their first product’s packaging. The client emphasized on product packaging, and providing a relatable view of options facilitate their decision-making process.
Packaging Design
Due to the intended target market for marketing and retail, the product packaging and brand manual were executed in 2 languages.
We sourced and managed the production of both primary and secondary packaging for the skincare product, from sourcing to prototyping and final production.
